See below for a profile of some of our Foster Collies, there are 40 plus in total, all needing ongoing medical care. What your donation provides
Supporting our Permanent Foster Collies

Many Rough Collies that come into our care are either over the age of 10 or found to have specific medical needs and cannot go up for adoption in the normal way. Thankfully, we are lucky enough to find dedicated foster carers where these collies can go to live.

Whilst they are in what we call Permanent Foster, these collies receive all the veterinary care, rehabilitation and long-term medication for the many ailments they display, all of which Collie Rescue pay for. Some of this can be very costly and this is where you would be able to help us financially in any way you feel you could afford.

​You would receive a twice yearly copy of our “Paws for Thought” newsletter in which there is a section highlighting what has been happening with these collies during the year and also updates on individual on-going cases.
